About Us

Briggs Industries was first established 1972 in Warren, MI. In 1981 they relocated and constructed the current facility in Chesterfield, MI, situated on 40 acres of naturally wooded land. Founder Jerry Briggs adopted the green concept by using passive solar heat and lighting panels and a natural wood boiler for the main building’s heating. We are committed to a sustainable future for both our environment and economy. These are the type of savings we look forward to passing on to you.

As we approach nearly 50 years in business we've accumulated a vast amount of experience throughout the ups and downs of the tooling industry. We are fully equipped with up to date CAD/CAM, two presses for short/trial runs, a metal shop, wood shop and more. Together, with you our customer, we can take you from start to finish on a variety of tooling applications.
